| Well, this is a first. Did Honda remove the motor? What year is your scooter? How many miles on the motor? Did it make knocking noise at all speeds?
I'm thinking oil pump not pumping oil. |

| Maybe put the bike on the mainstand.
Playing with the trottle you can listen where the noise come from. ( different rpm's)
Motor? Variatorbox?
Perhaps a stethoscope is helpfull.
Or a screwdriver, used as a stethoscope.

| I'd like to suggest that you stop "pu'ing" on the front and rear tires. Only because I'm not sure what that means. I don't actually think you will get a usable answer from your description. It would be like asking your doctor to diagnose you via e-mail. Not realistically possible. The doctor or us could accidentally stumble upon an answer. I'd be shocked if there is something twisted or torqued in the motor. Could be a failed bearing, if it is in fact an engine problem. See how much that helps? I don't actually have a clue without hearing and/or seeing and/or knowing a bit more about the history of the bike. |
