I didn't know our scooters could do that. :not worthy:

I've been present when it was done with an X9 500 but I think it's a stupid thing to do.

I've been in a Christmas Parade where the guy on a Harley, in front of me, would stop his bike on a painted street line and smoke his rear tire like that. The crowd on the side of the street would run because they did not want to breath the smoke into their lungs, and I do not blame them. The Harley rider thought it was cool...I thought the guy was an idiot.

I try to take care of my Swing, I hope it out lasts me and I have no plans of going over to the bone yard any time soon. And no I wouldn't nor do I think its a good thing to do unless you have more money than brains, even then it's a shame to treat a good machine like that.

Did you notice that he carefully placed the rear wheel on a puddle of something before the real stupidness started?

They use different types of oil to make it smoke, in some of the videos I've seen them pouring olive oil on the ground and tire. Also helps keep the tire from gripping the ground.

Seems like a waste of tire rubber. (Like they don't wear out fast enough all ready.) But, I suppose if doing that makes him feel the way he needs to feel, then good for him.

I might if I was on the way to change the tire out anyway,,,,,,.......UHHHHHH,,,maybe not

We need idiots to try these things to show us what the Wing CAN do.

Just goes to show what a magnificent machine the Silverwing is, irrespective of what we personally would do.

 As in all stories, there are THREE sides. Yours, mine, and the truth. He chose to, was asked to, or just left the forum. At that time he also chose to remove his posts. When he came back his new posts will be found (not the ones he removed). I guess this is life in the cyber world.

Bigbird was very knowledgeable and helpful to most, but not if you disagreed with him. Like many of us; "my way or the  hiway".

He has moved on to other rides and I wish him well.

IMO, Big Bird was a burnt out shop teacher, teaching Dome a** Students,and it carried his frustration to some of his fella Silver wingers .I would like to think that he followed Larry in Seattle and gone to the Darkside.

Big Bird is very knowledgeable about the Silverwing, and I wouldn't hesitate to send him a PM or email if I was in need of his help. It's a shame his earlier posts are gone.

It was the sort of sniping in some posts here which led to the Upset.

Therefore, before this gets out-of-hand, thread locked.
