Old man with his first SWING

I started out 55 years ago on a Cushman box scooter at the age of 15, had everything from 100cc Yamaha, BSA, Snortin Nortin, Suzuki Buffalo (750cc 3 cylinder, 2 stroke...great bike, several enduro's, a Goldwing..and finally a Helix for the last 8 years. A friend had his '07 silverwing for sale, he let me ride it (wow!!). I whined and cried, pouted and fumed and my wife bought for fathers day. @ almost 72, it will probably be my last. All I can say now is that I wish that I had gotten one in '02. Name is Nick and am glad to be a member.

Welcome Kandu, many of us on here have a similar background to you, age is just a number in my book. If you do your own servicing there are no real problems. The best advice anyone can give you is, remove the light bulb under the seat. Sad
