This guy has just joined the Maxi-muppets forum in the UK, and has already started advertising his backrests for sale on there, for Burgmans and Silverwings. I felt it was only fair to warn the members of that forum, in view of the negative comments expressed on this forum regarding the issues of quality/cost/difficulties experienced, to beware of parting with hard-earned money. He is offering a discount for orders placed, I think, before 'Black Friday', 11-26-10. Can someone explain to a Limey what 'Black Friday' is, please?!

It is a term that has applicability in the US and its environs. Meant to denote the day after Thanksgiving Day (U.S. holiday) when U.S. retailers hold big sales in an effort to sell every item in inventory and thus go into the "black". Since Thanksgiving Day is always on a Thursday - the day retailers get back into the "black" is a Friday. Black Friday

Just a note on this subject: Black and Red meaning ink used in a finance ledger or book keeping of a business. Black is good , money coming in and Red is bad, money going out. Or "My books look like they are bleeding to death because of all the Red ink"!
