| Lesley & John,
The Malossi will be a big improvement over the stock variator but the J. Costa gives even a bigger jump in performance. But the thing about the J. Costa is that I needed to replace the pins every 9,000-10,000 miles. They cost me about $70 with tax and shipping. Where the rollers on the Malossi should last 25,000 miles or so. But you will see a good amount of performance boost and will be my cheaper to maintain with the Malossi. Good luck and keep us informed with how you like it. And if you do this yourself there is a Pictorial on this site on how to change out the variator..changing the pins. It is the same as changing out the variator.

| Do you have the old Costa or the Evo2? I heard that they changed the material of the bell shaped cap (visible in the change from the old black color to the new silver) and to improve the mileage f the weights... |
