It is with great sadness....Senior Member 'model28a' Passed away. I just received the news in an e-mail from Keith Sharpe...It reads...

"Hi Dennis,
I want to let you know that model28a January 13 at 11:20 this morning Roger passed away. He was in the hospital almost a year. He was a great guy and will be missed."

He will be missed...And my condolences to his family.

One thing I meant to ask Roger for a long time and always forgot was the significance of his handle, model28A. I used to work on teletype equipment back in the 60s. The one of the printers we had were model 28A printers.

If I remember correctly (which is getting rarer every day), I think I read in one of his posts about working on Model A Fords.

He contributed much to this forum and will be missed.
