Thanks for the birthday greetings. I must say I have never been in a discussion group that was so personable. It's a nice touch.

Living here in the south, daytime temps have ranged from high 50s to 70s lately so I have been riding pretty often. I continue to be impressed with how smooth the silverwing is. I just hope I don't get a ticket because it is so easy to speed on it. On my harley, I can tell by the sound, feel, and gears about what my speed is. With the silverwing, I constantly look down at the speedo and see i am going faster than I thought.

I know what you mean when you compare a Harley to the SWing. I had a 883 Sportster and even though I really liked it...alot... the SWing is smoother and I think faster. The 883 would get off the line quicker but the SWing was a few mph faster. I also will be going faster than I think I am, until I look down at the speedometer and see I'm really scootin along. Again, glad you had a happy birthday.
