| Hello and welcome! I've had Givi panniers and now have Nelson-Rigg ones. There are so many to choose from and probably all do the job well. You pays your money.......! |

Great bunch of folks on this forum with great advise, stories, and humor. You name it there will be someone who knows something about it. Hope you contribute alot being on your third Silverwing and all. Enjoy the forum and the ride. |

| I use a set of Givi T421 panniers for two up Euro trips, l extended the straps originally for use on a 650 Burgman, and they work well on my Silver Wing. |

| An observation; I had a pair of Givi T421 and found them very good. However, I never needed use them expanded and wanted a narrower pair anyway as I still use the M25 in the UK and want to be able to filter/lane-split easily so I looked around for narrower, non-expanding ones.
I happened upon Nelson-Rigg panniers which fitted the bill - they are top-loading, too, which I like, so I passed on the Givis and bought them. I should really have bought the next size up but they are adequate for my use. I'd have bought the Givi T427s but they're are discontinued and difficult to find.
Be warned: very few soft panniers are waterproof and barely showerproof - I always pack the contents in plastic bags as well as using the shower-caps when the weather looks iffy. |

I know it's an old post this, but have you got more details on how to securely attach a set of soft panniers to the silverwing? Many thanks |

| Who exactly are you then? You've obviously taken the time to trawl through old forum topics and chosen to ask about something I posted eight years ago.
What you really you should have done is read that bit at the top of the Home Page about introducing yourself to the forum and made that your first post. |

Hi mate, apologies, I stumbled upon this post while searching ''silverwing panniers'' on Google, didn't mean to be disrespectful or anything. I'll do that now. Cheers |
