| Very interesting! I doubt if anyone here knew it wasn't legal to park on the pavement - everyone does it already and there's no problem as long as it's done considerately. I see bikers lane-split - there are always some nutters who are riding much too fast but most are careful. The bus-lane use will suit us very well - there is a bus lane much the way into Bruges and although traffic is usually light there are always long queues at the lift-bridge during the rush-hour even when it's down so we will be able to go to the front. By amd large Belgian drivers are bike-friendly as most youngsters have mopeds and very many people ride push-bikes, even the very elderly. I approve of ATTGATT and always do. |

| Too bad US is not so progressive-----Lane splitting/filtering only legal in CA----I lived 20 years in Japan....parking on sidewalk fine....Korea anything goes and riding scooter/ bike is really fun. Germany wasn't legal but done.....Italy really fun.....but skill required.....
My take in TN----get ahead by filtering some idiot in Pick Up or SUV they will try to attack or kill you if road opens up.
