| Subject: Questions about J&M Intergratr placement... Fri Jul 22, 2011 7:04 pm | |
| My girlfriend and I bought a 2004 SWing with ABS, we are thinking about buying a 2nd one. We want to be able to talk to each other and have a similar setup on each so it will not matter which bike we ride.... We do not like the idea of having the Intergratr on our hips.... We are wondering though if anyone has mounted one of the J&M Corp Intergratr's on a Ram Mount? or somewhere on a Swing?
How do you like the setup?
We have decided to go all out with both Swing and install things like : USB charger (for Iphone) in left pocket Cig Light outlet (for J&M Corp Intergratr) in left pocket J&M Corp Intergratr (intergrates Cell, FRS Radio into J&M headsets) http://www.jmcorp.com/SeeProducts.asp?PF=29 Motorola FRS radio in left pocket Nolan N103 helmets

| Have you aready got one or two Intergatr units? I know you're asking about them but I have a Starcom system - now the digital one but formerly the Starcom1 (much cheaper). It is powered by a lead installed by my mechanic at the dealer's and resides in the space where the toolkit usually sits. The leads - headset, music and GPS - feed through under the front of the seat which makes connection easy. I rarely use a PMR but can easily feed the cables through beside the others and attach the PTT button to the bars with a Velcro strap. Should you find both of you on the same bike you can plug in two headsets to the same unit (and two mobiles and two music sources). This may be of no help/interest to you but someone else may find it so. Good luck with whatever you decide upon. |
