Aug. 4th or 5th I'm planning on going to a convention in Columbia Mo. It's 271 miles one way. I would rather take a two lane highway but I'm taking Interstate I-70 to I-270 bypass around St Louis that's the quickest & straightest way to get there. I took a spin on the int yesterday to get the feel of all the traffic wasn't to bad as long as I stay in the right lane & run 65-70 & not pass anyone. That's my wifes idea.............

This will be my first big adventure on my swing .

Riding along the Lewis and Clark trail ( http://lewisandclarktrail.com/section1/stlouisarea.htm http://lewis-clark-trail.us/maps/eastern_missouri.html ) was fun.

Be careful near exits, some drivers may wait to the last minute to exit from several lanes over ... even those they had to pass by you.

If you find a car following too closely ... then ride in a straight line where the driver (and their visibility) will be following, then do a couple of swerves over and across the driver tract like you are trying to avoid tire debris. The driver will typically move to another lane very shortly ... because they cannot see the "debris" you are trying to miss Razz
