| I need to change my brake lever.
Has anyone done this? Any issues when I remove the lever? Will any springs come flying off? Do I have to bleed the hydralic fluid? |

| I replaced my bent one a few weeks ago (bike fell over). Extremely easy with just a flat screwdriver (if I recall). Nothing will fall out.

| As I remember, There is a small nut on the bottom that you need to pay attention to when you remove the lever. |

| Thats weird- my nut seems to be attached, or maybe it is just glued on. |

| If I remeber correctly, the goldwing adjustable brake lever is compatable. Got to research where I saw that. Be back soon... |

| Hi Paul,
I did the research on the brake levers off the gold wings. Only the right lever would work with the Silverwing. On the Goldwing the left is a clutch lever so that side did not work at all. |

| You are right on the money Dennis, OEM are under $20 bucks each. If you do lose the nut it is a 6mm cap nut 90201-415-000 about $2.90. |
