New Owner '03 Silverwing from Stafford, VA

I just recently purchased a used 2003 Silverwing from a dealership and successfully completed the Basic Rider Course. This experience felt similar to getting my driver's license and buying my first car.

I've had the itch to be on two wheels for many years and finally scratched it!

Looking forward to many safe and enjoyable years of riding!

Congratulations on your Silverwing! and especially the 2003 Silverwing. Not only is it the fastest model of any year, it is the only year Honda fitted them with a reverse!! as you have probably found useful!

While my '03 is certainly very fast (I hit 115 mph once but didn't stay there long he he) I'm wondering what the heck you're talking about when you mention a "reverse". I don't see that on my rig. Please elaborate.

Hey Tom, "reverse" is the 2-leg variety!

Whoa! When I saw that 'reverse' thing I was like 'WHAT??!!' It sure would come in handy .... but the 2-legged reverse works just fine!
