| Hi there I'm English but live in Mollet del Valles near the Montmelo GP / F1 circuit 25 kms north of Barcelona. I've had Burman 400s and 650s and I've just swapped a Silverwing 400 2007 with 64000kms in for a brand new SWT600 and added hotgrips, a givi high screen and added my Givi 46L top box. I really want some leg deflectors but Honda don't do them and there don't seem to be any aftermarket ones. Anyway, look forward to swapping info, experiences and advice with members here. All the best |

| I really like the look of the SWT-600,I currently have a Silverwing which ticks all my boxes but I would love a SWT-600,so much more upto date looking and with Silverwing reliability, why won't you bring it in Honda UK?. The Silverwing is no longer available in Europe,is it because HUK have loads of Swings left? I don't think you can class the Integra a scooter as it isn't open framed at all,the only thing in common with a scooter is it is automatic.

| i agree with you Scooterboy, the Integra does nothing for me.It looks like the SYM group are producing some interesting scooters, as a life long Honda rider if Honda stop the Silverwing in Europe, i will be looking at them. By the way welcome Mr simon this is truly an international site, you could not have found better. |

I too have been looking at the SYM.but like you I am a dyed in the wool Honda rider, never had anything else in 30 yrs apart from the odd second bike being something else. I did email Honda regarding bringing in the SW-T,they said they had no plans at the moment, but I am sure they would say that. I had a difference of opinion at the NEC last year when a Honda chap tried to tell me that the Integra was Honda's latest replacement for the Silverwing!!!! I asked him to explain to me how it could possibly be it's replacement when it isn't even a scooter.he tried blinding me with BS,and went on about it's economy and ease of use.I told him I need a step thru design due to my disability and was no good to me. | I'm not that bothered, the new SW-T doesn't look that much different from the K6 Burgman 400 I had a few years ago. I looked at one parked up in Milan last month, and even took a couple of photos of it. Yes it does look a bit more modern, but it won't do anything the older model can't.
If Honda did bring the SW-T to the US, I'm certain it would be the usual routine of trying to change it into something else by adding all the junk in the name of safety or visibility, or sticking a car tyre on the back. Why bother doing all again, ride the one you've got.
