| We have had the 200th member join today and in fact have 201 members now. The site is about 4 months old now and seems to keep growing. It's nice to know that we all enjoy our Silver Wings and are able to help each other out with sharing our knowledge and enjoyment of the SWing. I have had mine about 25 months now and still really enjoy this bike. As I have said before; this is the first time I have never wanted another bike. I am usually always thinking of the next bike, but as of now there isn't "the next bike" yet. Maybe the E4-01 or if they come out with the Silver Wing 750. But I just went for another nice relaxing ride yesterday and was thinking that this thing is very smooth, powerful, and comfortable. And it is reallly all I need now and I hope to have it many more years. My next toy is the Power Commander for my birthday. I found a website that sells them for $255, which is much cheaper then most sites. Does anyone here have the power commander with the stock variator? I was thinking of putting my stock variator on again since I'm tired of paying $65 every 10 months for new pins. |

I have the Power Commander with the stock variator. I do not have a custom map, just the zero map ... which is NOT the original map. I have been waiting for warmer weather to get some warm weather riding statistics. I have been noticing lower MPG, so I am thinking of temporarily disconnecting to see the Power Commander is the reason. |

| Super that the site is going so well. I'm enjoying my new Silverwing more each time I ride. The last few times out it just felt great. It did take a few hundred miles to get used to the differences from my other bike. But I sure agree it has all the power I will ever need. I love it that the wind doesn't kick me around like it did on the Helix. I'm excited for this riding season.... |

When I emailed the company they said they would provide me with whatever map I wanted. Maybe you can go back to the company and get the proper map. I also remember seeing maps that can be downloaded too. I will be telling them to provide me with a map for a stock variator and K&N filter. I surprised that your mileage went down a little. I was hoping for results kind of like Bernardo's. I think he got a good 5-7 mpg boost. Thanks for responding to me about the power commander. |

http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander_iii_usb/powercommander_all_downloads.aspx?mk=7&mdl=157&yr=2007 Look for maps available - I believe I may be running the "Stock Exhaust and Stock Filter" ... I will have to confirm. They also have a zero map (might be no tuning) I would call http://www.fuelmotousa.com/home.htm (lowest prices too), they claim to have a large collections of maps. I would ask how many maps they have for the Honda SWing ... they may have more maps (or just the stock ones). If they do, I would be interested in any maps you find. - JeffR wrote:

I check and I was running the "Stock Exhaust and Stock Filter" map. I just loaded the"European Model-Stock exhaust, Stock air filter" map to try, I do not believe there is that much difference between the two ... but the difference is the maps where signifigant. |
