| For the record, I have no objection to a darkside forum, or even sub forum under "Silver Wing Accessories & Modifications"

There are already existing Darkside forums - dspevack wrote:

I am not against a sub-forum ... though I would be against forcing all Darkside answers solely to the one sub-form ... discussion could be requested to moved. It will not solve any problems, because the same banter will still occur ... so not sure it will satisfy anyone. |

| I don't hink it is necessary to have a special sub-forum for car tires on motorcycles. As Bill has stated there are special forums for such discussion. I can believe Doug has stopped as a mod because of it, I can't believe I continue in spite of it. Feel a bit like Doug at this point. - FlyingWing wrote:
- LARRR.....Im a darksider, i tried it and then started using and it eventually became a habit, now i attend DARKSIDERS ANONYMOUS because im trying to be convinced to go back motorcycle tires....lol....i use the sumitomo just because everyone has had such a good experience with it...only thing i dont like about it....the sidewalls are thin....but its a scooter not a two ton car.
JD....if i cant have a dedicated darkside section.....will you atleast consider a "Break Room" or Water Cooler" section.....lets put fun back into scooter forums :-) ....."But sometimes u get what u need"...is the rest of that quote.....P.S......I grew up in Talladega and i hope u guys still have the wave pool. kinda unfair that our brothers across the pond get their own section but Darksiders will always be on the darkside. My bolding... So our forum is preventing this moron from having fun because we don't give him a dedicated section? In this forum he has what he needs, in life he is lacking! |

| It is strange that people have such strong opinions when it comes to certain things. I really could care less if people want to darkside or not. There are a lot of people doing it and I haven't heard of any accidents because of it. It is like oil, performance variators, sliders. etc where people have strong opinions. Maybe I'm just a pretty laid back person and believe it is up to the rider to do as they want.
But those against something shouldn't give such strong opinions that may be thought of as being rude or disrespectful. IMO.
I don't see why we need a "darkside" forum. I'm not sure how many people use a car tire but it doesn't seem like it is really discussed here much. |
