| These pictorials are really helpful. I also searched by entering belt and there is a thread for variator price which lists several places to buy belts. I did not check them, so I have no personal knowledge of their accuracy at this time. I noticed another thread about other things to check when changing belt. When I get ready to change a belt, I will study these threads more. I make enough mistakes on my own, so if I can borrow others knowledge I will. The Silverwing has been around long enough that there is a wealth of knowledge available, and the people on this forum have contributed a lot of it. Thanks! |

| Hi aferris,
First thing...Welcome to the Forum.
Changing the belt is very easy, just keep track of where the screws and bolts install and a small technique involved in installing the variator bolt.
Easy to do. |

And a big thank you bigbird. Still haven't put many miles on yet. You know when it's in the 50's it's cold to us Floridians. Tomorrow it will be in the high 60's. So I plan to put some miles on then I will see if I can tell the difference between sliders and stock. |

| I've done the Burgman 400's and have the tools for that. Is the SW pretty much the same? What size nut holds the variator on? |
