1/3 of the new Honda 700 engine motorcycles is coming to USA. Makes you wonder why they did not bring the Integra with it? I expect a majority of parts would be identical. |

I am waiting for the Integra to arrive here in the U.S., but if not, then will go with a new BMW or Suzuki Burgman. In my opinion, the Integra will replace the Silver Wing. My dealer told me that Honda reps are insinuating that could be the case. I sure hope so!!!! |

From what I've picked up on here, Silver Wing enthusiasts and owners would rather have Honda importing the newer SW-T version of the Silver Wing rather than the Integra. That's the case in both the US and the UK. We already have the 700 Integra on sale, it hasn't been a sales success here and most maxi riders who've been bikers don't want to go back to an open chain after mess free belt drive. Next years Integra has been upped to 750 and has a few changes from the 700 including a sporty colour option. You'd still need to fit a decent screen, top box, and a set of hard panniers to make it a decent tourer.

I've not heard of the SW-T version, but will research it now. |

| NC700X would be sales flop in US=too expensive/open chain/real weather protection?, etc. NT700V---great bike, popular in Europe for years as Deauville, sales flop in US, heavy but nice to ride--I had one....right price would try another??
SilverWing old, old design but probably superior in all ways to NC700X---even though belt replacement required every 15-20,000 miles----and most riders don't ride that much anyway, o not issue for most.
Does NC700X have centerstand standard?? Maintaining open chain without centertand not fun----I have one open chain bike right now with no centerstand=not fun. Is TU 250 Suzuki 2013. |

| Well, no news yet on the Silverwing replacement. It looks like a 2014 Burgman 650 for me in the Spring. |
