What does FSC600D stand for?

What does FSC600D stand for, who thought it up, and what is the history behind this model number designation? Sure its just a model number - but the person who thought it up, the people who approved it, and the creators of the SWing had some reason(s) for picking this model number - but what were they? I imagine that 600 is an engine displacement designation - but what about the letters as they must have been chosen to stand for something (whether related to the SWnig or something else dear to the heart of the person[s] that came up with them)? Maybe this has been settled elsewhere on this forum - if so, please post a link. Thanks!

I have always thought of it as: Fast Scooter Charlie 600 (FSC600)

I know the D or the A on the end lets you know if it has ABS breaks or not. That's my 2 cents and all I can offer as I'm a poor man.
