| Anyone want to share a good road or route then please post it in this thread.
Whilst doing some 'armchair riding' I came across this 'roman road'. http://www.bestbikingroads.com/motorcyclegps.php?n=L511-Isona-Coll-de-Nargo-Collada-de-Faidella-Coll-de-Boixols-Coll-de-Nargo-&code=21c900

| I was tempted to quote 'Python' here.
"Apart from viaducts, what did the Romans give us".
Over to you! |

| "All right, but apart from sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?"
They certainly didn't give anyone the L-155!

| Notice that most of the routes in the link you provided are in the Country of Andorra. Fantastic place to ride a bike. Very bike friendly, however they speak Catalan, but understand Espanol. The entire country is like the Dragons Tail in NC. |

So you're saying Andorra is a nothing but an 11 mile stretch of twisty road with a 30mph speed limit then. |

| Basically it is. Bikers from all over France and Spain congregate there. Especially on the weekends. Going over the Coll d'Ordino is probably better than the tail of the dragon, except the Andorran Police aren't as rough. Better brush up on your Catalan though, it's difficult to find anyone that speaks English. You may find someone willing to speak French or Spanish. |

| I've been to Andorra twice, the first time riding a 250cc MZ Supa 5, and again on a BMW R65. I'd say bikers go there to buy Tax-Free bike gear as to ride the roads. I came back the first time kitted out with a new leather jacket, helmet, and boots. The two-stroke MZ coped surprisingly well in the Pyrenees, despite having drum brakes either end that faded a bit on long descents. I remember eating the local delicacy of snails from the shell in a restaurant in Andorra la Vella, a tasty treat similar to holding your nose with a pair of pliers, while pulling garlic flavoured bogies out of your nose with a metal fork, and then eating them.

| Well, at least there is little chance of getting nicked at the Douane coming out of Andorra on a bike for going over your allotment of Duty Free's. As an American I'm actually entitled to LESS allotment than an EU resident. The capital of Andorra is a bit too hectic for me, I prefer the smaller villages. My favorite bike shop is in La Massana just outside the capital. Not that you could do it on a Swing, but during the off season a lot of off road riders will ride to the top of the mountains and ride the ski trails down. Some of them are quite challenging. |
