| Hi everyone, Have enjoyed reading all the post. My name is Gerry and I live in central VA. I have owned 5 or 6 motorcycles in my life and just purchaced my first scooter. It's a 2007 silverwing , honda maintained , 26,000 miles, and I would consider the overall condition very good! I purchaced the scooter for $2400 and I think this is not a bad deal. Would appreciate your feedback. Thanks, Gerry |

| Hello Gerry and welcome to the site. It sounds like you did quite well on the purchase price. I had a 2007 Swingwith about the same mileage that was wrecked back in May. The insurance company valued it at $4200. Hope you enjoy it. |

| Welcome Gerry. If you're happy; you did good. If you're unhappy; I'll give you $2405. The hardest part will be waiting for spring to enjoy the beauty of Virginia. Welcome to the forum. |

| Hi, Gerry.
I bought my 2007 Swing back in Sept for $38,500 from a dealership in IL. (It cost another $400 to have it transported to Boston.) It had 14,500 miles on it and seemed to be in good condition. I've really been enjoying it and this blog has given me great ideas on maintainance and improvements. Since there's no snow here yet, I'm going to keep riding it as long as I can. The heated grips and Gerbing liner and insoles keep me warm enough to enjoy the ride.
Welcome to the site. |

| Gerry,
Welcome to the forum and you bought the best year SWing. I have 34,000 miles on my 2007 and it still runs like a champ. Just do basic maintenance and you should be just fine. These things seem to run forever. Congrats. |

Must be a misprint ... or solid gold. Right you are, honda_silver. I meant it cost $3,850. And a great investment. |
