| On my computer screen, the "Latest Topics" column (words and letters) is running over into the next column. The column and adjacent column seem to be 'wrong-sized' for some reason. Really looks goofy and is irritating. Help? |

| Same here. I'm viewing on IE8 on XP on 1280 x 800 res if that helps any one.
However have just viewed under 'Compatibility View' (under 'Tools' on IE8) and all is back to normal..... more or less. The latest topics look wider than normal however. |

| Fixed by editting the title of a topic post.
A problem created, but fixed. |

| Bigbird I agree fully. Having been there and done that. I am still amazed at the can you help me type questions thata simple Google search will fix. On the other hand, a problem with the bike, technical or otherwwise deserves a sensible and knowledgable response. RIP common sense, especially when it is to the detriment of good guys like Dale who give up so much of there personal time to keep this site as it should be. I have already PM'd Dale but I would like to say on the forum how sad I am to lose such a stalwart due to those folk who cannot use the search facility or cannot look on the wealth of information available for themselves on the www. And if I offend any one, - look inwards! |

| Dale,
I would like to thank you for being an "Admin" for so long. You were one of the first members on the site, and you and Dennis, were the first 2 mods. I hope you enjoyed your time as an Admin and I think you did a great job. You helped build this site into what it is and I really think it is one of the top Silver Wing sites on the web, if I may say that without sounding arrogant.
I hope you stay around and continue to contribute and I do understand when people step down as "admins". It can be kind of a pain at times and you did it for a long time. I also sent you a "PM" too. Thanks. |

No longer a member of the mod squad, Dale? That's too bad. I could always count on you for impeccable grammar, meticulous spelling, and technical-based locution.
Wait a minute, you're not dead. You're tired, angry, and frustrated by the lazy members who don't know what a search function or Google accomplishes.
I got tired of answering the same questions over and over and over, and tired of dealing with people who refuse to actually read posts.
Wow! I love my new Motorscooter! How do i ride it? Like a bicycle? Or like we Oxen when i was a youngster? |

| Riding with WOT 'wide open throttle', ' blasting through the twisties', and 'washes out in hard corners' etc, I love reading these little gems from the hard riding dudes. I some times forget I'm on a scooter forum where the majority of the members are Seniors and would have trouble throwing their leg over a sports bike, and others are forever searching out bits to make their Silver Wing perform and handle like one.

| Old Limey said:"As for riding, it's the bike that does all the work, i just point it were i want it to go".
First... you are not really "old".... and second... your description of riding is my kind of riding.

| Very encouraging these kind sentiments. I did 98mls yesterday and 84mls today. Had a nice cup of tea with a man who just bought his 125 scooter and was out on his first run, he was having trouble getting insurance as he told me he was 84yrs old!!!. No i guess iam not old. |

*For all the lazies/slugs/mentally challenged who can't or won't use a search engine, WOT stands for Wide Open Throttle Wheeeeeeeeeee! Whe Whe Wheeeeeeeeeeee! |
