| I'm 6'3". I'm getting blasted in the head by wind. Do I want the Givi windscreen, or the Laminar Lip? Looks don't matter to me if there is a substantial difference in functionality. All other things being equal I'd rather have a clean windscreen, but if the Lip works better I'll take it. Discuss..... |

| I'm 6'1", I was, too, getting blasted. I put on a Givi. It was too tall for me, but I didn't cut it until after I got the Day-Long seat. Glad I didn't, it is now just what I wanted. Almost all of the bugs stay on the screen, very few get back to me. Of course, it is not like being in a cage, there are some blustery bits, but that to me is part of motorcycling. LOL |

| Mickey, There are other screens too, i.e. Clearview and Cee Bailey, that can be installed. I had the Clearview but it flexed alot, but I think I just received a defective one. I then installed a Givi and I need to cut it down about 1 1/2" or 2". I'm 6' and usually all the screens are too short for me but the Givi is taller. I had a Givi and a Laminar Lip on the Majesty I had adn it worked but doesn't look as nice as a single screen. I would think the Givi would be perfect for you since you are 6'3". Just my opinion though. |

| Hi Mickey, I'm 5' 8", give or take, and had an awful time with the stock screen. Bought a Givi and it made all the difference in the world. I like being "behind" a screen but if I had to, I could stretch up and look over it without a lot of discomfort. Of course, when it came to my decision time (I tried to research them all) cost turned out to be my main factor. Still all in all, I really like the Givi. Good Luck.

| Mickey, I'm 5'10" and I had the Laminar Lip for a couple of years. It did a good job at reducing wind buffet for me, but I don't think it would work for your height. I rode behind a Givi for a few miles (another owner's scoot) and the Givi provided about as much improvement over the Laminar Lip as the Lip did over the stock screen. I currently have a Clearview large and it is just the right height for a 'see over' windscreen for me. At your height, I would definity recommend the Givi, or Clearview XL. |

| Givi it is, then! It's actually not much more money. I like Laminar's ear thingies, and I'll probably get some of those too.
Next up: I have GOT to do something about the seat before I look like a baboon in mating season. Good Lord, didn't Honda's guys actually go for a RIDE on one of these?
All things considered, though, I love the bike. Once I get it to where I can stand to be on it for 2 hours at a stretch without contemplating suicide you may never get me back off again. I just finished my afternoon 1-hour commute, 70-80 mph steady, and my ears are ringing and my butt is throbbing. |

| Contact the www.day-long.com for the phone number.
Find a tattered stock seat, send it to the kind folk at Russell Day-Long and they will charge you about 620+ for a seat that will NOT need to be tailored to the bike and will provide the comfort needed. |
