| A few weeks ago I had the chance to ride a burgman 400. It had a massive givi windscreen. It was the kind that you look through and it was tall enough that you could ride with a baseball cap and not get it blown off or smoke a cigarette. I don't do either of those things but I do like big windscreens. Does anyone have an idea of which model this might be and if it's made for the wing? It was also less sloped towards the driver which made the cockpit seem bigger...any ideas? |

| It sounds like the Givi Standard windshield. I had the stock screen, Clearview XL with vent, Givi Standard, and now the Givi Airflow. The Clearview will slope towards the rider more so it has to be the Givi Standard screen. One thing I noticed about the Givi Standard screen was some slight back pressure. It would kind of push my head forward a bit.
But the Givi Standard seems strong enough to be able to put in a small vent yourself, and this should relieve some of the back pressure. But since you are in S.C., and it gets humid there you may want to think about the Givi Airflow. I won't trade my Airflow for any screen that I have used before. But if the Givi is too tall you can cut it down an inch or so. Tell us what you get. |
