I'm trying to get my bike in pristine condition. The body work I'm just washing with regular soap and water, then going over all the shiny bits with lemon pledge. What would you guys recommend for all the black plastic. Mine is getting a bit faded from the sun.I'd like to get the original lustre back. I'm not a big fan of armoral so I was hoping to hear some alternatives.

I use Autoglym Bumpercare but I think any similar product does just as well.

What I should have said, too, is that it's easy to apply - requires no effort so suits me! Just squeeze a blob on to a cloth and firmly wipe it on.

| I am with Larry on this one. Magquires also sells one call back to black and it is so easy to use. Wipe on let it dry for a few min and buff off. - larryinseattle wrote:

McGuires also have a product called PlastRX, which is very good for taking fine scratches out of the screen and headlight cover, as well as marks on the tupperware.

Thanks for all the info. I used some lemon pledge and that seemed to do the job real well. I'll keep some of the other stuff in mind once I need to break out the big guns.
