I returned Monday from a weekend trip into the Ozarks. I camped @ Sam Baker state park in Missouri and used that as my launching point for the rides. It was approx. 800 miles round trip. The Swing performed flawlessly with a mix of interstate, two lane highway & back country cruising. MPG was between 45-55.
The highlight of the trip for me was US 160 between MO highways 19 & 21 through parts of the Mark Twain National Forest. Wow what a ride!
Living in Central IL I am not used to twists, turns and elevation changes such as that. The Swing maybe turned a LITTLE slower into some of the tighter turns than my DRZ used to. It could be a case of me getting used to my new machine as well. If you're ever in the area, please give that stretch a try. You won't be sorry.
The GIVI airflow is a huge improvement over the stock windscreen and the sheepskin butt pad made life easier also. I love my new scoot! Between the commuting and light touring I do I feel this is the perfect machine for me. I only wish I would have bought one sooner.
A picture of an overlook along MO highway 34 outside of Piedmont. I would've taken more pictures, but I was busy twisting the throttle.
