| Hello,
I need some advice, Ive bought some Oxford heated grips for my 2009 Silverwing and im having difficulties wiring them up. The thing is I need to get the wires from the handle bars to the battery. Spent 2+ hours try to find a route but cant find any info on net how to get all the black plastics off aroung the fuel tank area. Then wondered if I could just wire it from a wire comming from the ignition? Or would i need to install a relay , if so I'd still need to run a wire to the battery. I could do with a worksop manual but cant find one on net either. Please could someone give me some advice
cheers

| My factory fit ones are wired into the ignition somehow! Don't ask me how. Electrics aren't something I dabble with!! (Bike under warranty at the mo)
I'll see if I can get some wiring data for you. |

| I spotted mine on eBay. The American seller was a wise old fox. He annotated the packing used maintenance manual, value $1. So no customs to pay. I think I paid $37 inc P&P. You have to scour the net to find them. Unless you wish to take out a second mortgage and buy new from Honda. Big bucks!!!!! There was a German version downloadable a few years back but that has fallen off the plot. |

| I got my manual from www.RepairManual.com. The basic price was $80 and it arrived pretty promptly. Mine is Honda 61MCT09 and is really for the US model but it seems to have everything (and more) that I'm likely to need. |
