PostSubject: Filters Gone   Filters Gone I_icon_minitimeTue Oct 30, 2012 1:31 am

Hi All,
Some time back I had a couple PM's from "jb1016" down in Florida, concerning my use of and the availability of the Wal Mart Super Tech 7317 oil filters here in Kansas. I hadn't needed to look specifically for those since my mileage just didn't require it right now. He, 'jb', had notified me that those (Super Tech) filters were no longer available in Florida and wondered about those here in Kansas.

Just today, I was in one of our local Wal Marts in Topeka so went to have a look-see. Well, 'lo and behold', we don't have the Super Tech Filters either. The oils and other products were still there though. Did we both miss this in someone else's post somewhere?? He has switched to the Purolator #14610. Reckon I might too. He sent a backup article touting its efficacious nature... (that's a new word I just learned Laughing Laughing ). Hey... it's 12:30 am!!

Anyway, for those who were using that filter and didn't know... now ya' do.

I'll second that. I just hit up my local Wal-Mart for some oil and filter for my SWing too... this past weekend.

They did not have any Super Tech oil filters. Just every Fram imaginable, some Bosch, a few Purolators, and a couple Mopar ones.

They did have Super Tech oil... just no filters. I was stumped, as I was looking for the ST7317. I ended up getting a Purolator #14610 instead.

Cheers!
