Got a call from the dealer today - my new 'Wing will be ready for collection on 16 November!
Let's hope the weather is dry when I go fetch!

As a distraction about your "Suzuki GT 250 RamAir". I used to have a GT250 X7, never heard of a RamAir. Whats that?

I think the X7 was a newer version.

I see, the RamAir was forced air cooling for the cylinders. Yes, the X7 was a later model... I can still remember fitting micron 'rattlers', K&N cone filters and jetting the carbs Then sometime later whipping the crank out for a complete rebuild

Yep all on track - got the reg no and everything covered. Will ride to Farnham on Saturday morning on the GS and ride back home on the Wing - 80 mile round trip - haven't checked the weather, don't suppose I'll notice it!

Dear wife has plans for the afternoon so will probably have to wait until Sunday before I can do some more miles.
