| I am buying my first scooter. Its going to be a 2004 silverwing that is silver in color. Im picking it up on sat morning in savana georgia. It only has 2950 miles on it, it was hauled behind a rv its whole life and was well taken care of. The owner wants 3,500$ for it but I talked him down to 3,300$ because im driving from jacksonville florida and I asked him to cover gas and food and he was more then happy too. I cant wait, Im hauling it back with a flat bed trailor from uhaul. I have been thinking about it all week and am dying to ride it and enjoy fully the experince of riding this Swing. My father has always owned a Goldwing Interstate. Im 38 years old and this will be my first any 2 wheeled veichle. Wish me luck on my trip saturday and there will be pictures when i pick it up. |

| Good Luck with your new silver wing. I have only had mine for just over 3 weeks now, and she's beautiful. 2008 600cc, 27000 klms on the clock and yes she is silver in colour. I have named her Cup Cake. My previous scooter is a vmoto monza, which is currently up for sale. A big difference from a 50cc enginee to a 600cc. But as I am still on my L plates I am needing heaps of practice, so every nice day I take her out for a ride. |

| Welcome, I too just purchased a 2004 Silver Silverwing two weeks ago. It had 4100 miles on the clock and had not been driven in over two years! First thing I did was change the oil and filter, this weekend I plan to change the trans oil and flush the cooling system as well as flush the brake fluid. I've been riding very small scoots for the past several years so jumping up to a 600cc scooter is really nice! You'll love the power and comfort the Silverwing offers. I wish you the best of luck, be safe!

| Welcome and good luck with your new ride. One well-meant advise: if this is your first two-wheeler, be gentle on the throttle, the SW is a very fast scooter! |

| Congratulations and welcome. If this is your first time on a 2 wheeler may I suggest a motorcycle safety course? |

| I have to endure the yearly torture of driving my family down to Jacksonville every December and spending two weeks there WITHOUT my Swing. I see riders all over when I'm there and I'm so jealous.
The weather is so gorgeous every time I wish I could ride the entire time I was there. I think if I lived in Jacksonville I would be a year-round rider. I'd try it for sure. Except for your occasional downpours the weather seems perfect for riding all the time.
Good luck on your purchase, it looks like you're getting a great deal (almost identical to the deal I made 2 years ago) and I can practically guarantee you're going to love it.
If not I know a guy who will rent it from you for two weeks out of the year! |
