| Happy Easter To everyone from beautiful Australia. On the way for a 4 day weekend no work till Tuesday - yippee!! Was going to ride my Cupcake over the long weekend, but the weather is going to be crap. Top temperature in the early 20's and wind gusts approximately 40kph. (Wind gusts not good for me, as I havent had Cupcake for that long, and I am still in the progress of getting to know her.) The temperature has changed so dramatically since yesterday. We reached approximately 39 degrees and several bushfires started not far from my home. But with the steady rain and much cooler temperatures the fires are now under a controlled situation. |

| That is the major bugbear I have with retirement - NO HOLIDAYS.. You people that work don't know how lucky you are!
Happy Easter to you all wherever you happen to be celebrating it.
Cheers, |

| I'm happy to extend a "Happy Easter" to everyone also. It's always a great day around our home to attend sunrise services and observe the celebration of the Resurrection. May God be with you all ! |

| Thanks for the greetings and I wish the same to everyone.
BTW Trish, That's one of the reasons I left Vic. 4 seasons in a day. Don't forget to pack your waterproofs, especially if the day starts off beautiful and sunny.

| I've decided not to attend the sunrise service in the catherdal at 5.00. as the clocks go forwards tomorrow night so it'll feel like 4.00. - I shall go to the later one at my church instead. (They are limits to my religious fanaticism). I wish everyone a very Happy Easter, for what ever reason you celebrate it. |

That's true, but 'currently regular church attendance in the UK stands at 6% of the population with the average age of attendance being 51’. To the other 94% it's just a long Bank Holiday weekend when middle aged men drag their caravans to the Lakes or seaside to do exactly the same things that they'd have done staying at home, maybe plunder the local DIY stores, get the lawnmower out, or squeeze into tight leathers and climb onto their motorcycles to "blow the cobwebs away"! |

| Meldrew's summed it up as far as my remark is concerned.
I no longer make any secret of my Christian beliefs and practice and have adopted the 'church militant' stance, challenging the 'Christmas is for the children' -type remarks of friends and acquaintances.
However, I want to live peaceably with my neighbours, including those on the forums I frequent, so give my Seasonal Greetings in the style of my beliefs, accepting that they are not shared by all.
The sentiment is one of goodwill to all. |

| Thanks MikeO, point well-taken,
I just get tired of all the "political correctness" required to keep "everyone" happy. And therefore don't give a hoot whether they're happy or not. On this beautiful spring day when I head out to the countryside on my SWing I know I'll feel a lot better about the whole thing, knowing that tomorrow I'll be able to celebrate Easter the way it's meant to be. |

| When someone sends their good wishes, for what ever they are celebrating, it can only be a good thing. I am pleased to receive happy Easter wishes from the Christians, just as I am happy to receive good wishes for the Spring Solstice, or the approaching Beltane, for those who follow Pagan traditions.
.. So happy Saturday to all of you! (it hasn't rained here, today!) |

Had to be back for Easter vigil services. I play I the band. Last time I rode was Dec. 4th. It felt good to ride. |
