My Silverwing is a 2002 imported from USA. Under the seat it says california vehicle with a diagram showing some sort of emission control, something to do with evaporating unburnt fuel, I think scratch . Does anyone know what major differences there are between different models? The previous owner told me that the Silver Wing remained the same with no changes, although I doubt it.

After 2009 all motorcycles (scoots too I assume) have conformed to the California emission control thus making them 50-state units. Prior to that I would guess that there were two different scoots in the US, one for California and one for the other 49 states.
