| Subject: Silverwing injectors? Mon May 06, 2013 12:02 pm | |
| Hi All,
Do you know what type of injectors are the stock on on 2006 silver-wing? what type of connector? height?
I tried to search for the information in the service manual but the only information that i found is the resistance, current, capacity and pressure. Lately i have been thinking of upgrading the fuel injectors and air filter...
Thanks, Ofer Rothmann

| Unless you anticipate doing some serious engine modifications (big bore, different cams, etc) I don't think that changing injectors is the way to go.
You might want to look into a Power Commander (PC3, PCIII) kit which can change the fuel MAP on the ECM. The PCIII MAPs can be custom programmed and dyno tuned to your specific need or used right out of the box.
But to answer your initial question; I suspect that the injectors are a standard physical size for most Honda engines, though the nozzle jets & spray patterns may be slightly different from other. more performance oriented, Hondas.
Regarding the injector connectors; they are made by Sumitomo, can be purchased from Ballenger Motorsports and are available as both male and female connectors. http://www.bmotorsports.com/
