| Hi everybody, my name is Tony, I am from, Texas and new to scooters. I am looking to buy a Honda SilverWing for everyday use all year round, weather permitting of course. I have ridden, Harley Davidson Road Kings, Honda Goldwing and trikes. Is the Silverwing a good choice for two-up riding? I am 59 so image is not all that important. Also, is their any audio system for this bike? |

| Hello and welcome Tony,
Silverwing should do fine for two up riding, as long as neither party has eaten too many 32oz steaks.
Audio system, listen to the sound of the engine or the nagging in your ear telling you to slow down.
Cheers, |

| Welcome Tony. My wife and I ride 2 up and it does fine for us but the rides are that often and the longest was only about 4 hours. It depends how big you are really. We are a combined weight of about 350 lbs, with me being more of course.
There are audio systems out there and many have installed them. Hope you find what you want and please tell us what you do. There is also the Burgman 650 but if you buy one I would get the 5 year extended warranty. A small percentage can have ECVT trouble which costs approx $3,000 if you can't fix it yourself. There is also the new BMW 650 scooter that may work for you too. I hope you get a SWing, I love it, but it is a big expense and you should check out everything before you buy. Welcome. |

| The Silverwing owner's manual lists the maximum load limit (rider, passenger and any cargo) for the U.S. model at 366 lbs. For some reason the Canadian limit is 375 lbs with the identical bike. That is probably due to metric gravity up north Other than observing that load limit, they are a stable, economical, reliable and a comfortable bike for two-up riding. |

| Welcome Tony! I agree with the others, observe the load limit and go have fun! I have a bluetooth intercomm for rider/pillion and use the music from my phone sent to my helmet.
