Happy Fathers Day to us...

Happy fathers day to us.. this is a big day in the US. Are there any other countries on this forum that have a celebrated day similar to our Fathers Day?

I second (or third) that. Happy Father's Day to all the fathers who've done their best to raise and care for families. God knows it's about - along with motherhood - the hardest job there is. This one's for you.

OK a bit belated, but yes thanks for that fellas! And a Happy father's day to us all indeed.

We do celebrate this over here in UK, but for most I don't think think its a big deal, unless someone goes to special lengths.... That is kind of a shame really...

Oh and I agree about being a parent! That and looking after a household while your other half works is I reckon one of the most difficult jobs that I have ever done.....!

My eldest son has just gone to France on a weeks school trip... I dropped him off this morning at school... It'll be the longest he has been away from home... I hope he has a good time!

We celebrate ours in OZ on the first Sunday in September. I hope all the dads in the US had a good day with their respective kids
