| It was Friday, a mere 4 weeks ago that I took possession of our Silver Wing trike. The odometer had exactly 2,400 miles on it. Tonight, when I pulled the S'wing into the garage after today's ride, the odometer read 3,013 miles. :D We've had a lot of wet, cold weather the last few weeks, or I'm sure that odometer number would be a few hundred miles higher. Still, 613 miles (986.52 Km) of just mostly fun riding isn't too bad. :D Tomorrow is supposed to be another sunny day,. so I'm sure we'll put a few more miles on the odometer. I suggested to Wanda that we pack a picnic lunch and ride up to a nearby lake - after she gets the yard mowed... |

| Riding the S'Wing may be uncomfortable with that lawnmower between you and the seat. |

| Jim, We didn't want to tell you this until you bought your SWing, did the upgrade to the trike, and paid for a new trailer...but the SWing requires a total engine rebuild at 3,014 miles and a brand new transmission. Just thought we would let you on to this now that you are about to reach 3,014 miles. |

As long as you are doing the overhaul... Don't forget to remove all the "winter" air from the tires and refill with "summer" air. Very important. :lol!: |

:lol!: Phtttfpt! Took care of that as soon as I got the trike home the first day. I also started and ran the engine in reverse to blow out any spiders and cobwebs that might have nested in the air intake over the winter. |

Ah ha! I used to do that when I was a kid. All those little gears making colourful swirling patterns. Great. |

| Well, I said yesterday that we would put a few more miles on the trike, but we decided to go out for breakfast and then do a little more genealogy research instead of picnicking at the lake. Round trip -= 104 miles. Ready to head out- Breakfast at Golden Corral in Joplin, Mo. Some of Wanda's Carver ancestors are interred here in Lowell, Ks. We're back home and Wanda's mowing the yard... I'm getting ready to |
