Subject: Source for OEM Parts?? Fri May 24, 2013 12:04 am
Hi All, I need to get a replacement trunk Showa air shock as mine is worn out. I have searched online fruitlessly for an OEM parts source for swings. In the past I have used motosport.com with good success for parts for my other bikes but they don't seem to support scooters.
Any ideas?

Here are a few but there are a lot more. I just did a Google search if you can't find what you need here you can find plenty more out there. Hope this helps. http://www.buymotorcycleparts.com/honda_parts.htm http://www.ronayers.com/ http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/honda/ http://www.motogrid.com/pages/OemParts?aribrand=HOM http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/search http://www.scooterwest.com/pv_items/Honda-Silver-Wing-600/global/137 http://japan.webike.net/categories/100000_110000_115000_115020.html http://www.sell.com/23Z9CM

Thanks, I was used to using different sites that had more availability to motorcycles.
I'll check these out!

No problem, after reading this forum for a little while you will find a lot of places to find parts. Someone is always posting where they found good prices on different parts. You will find some have better prices but others have cheaper shipping, so you just have to try to figure out what is best at the time. Also sometimes your local dealer will match a price you find online and you save shipping cost and if you have to return for warranty it is much easier to deal with your local dealer. My local dealer gives our club a 20 percent discount which makes some things cheaper than I can find online.

I think I ordered from these guys last time:
http://www.powersportspro.com/ Free shipping on orders over $60
I will never again place an order with: CheapCycleParts (Not cheap) Service Honda (Wanted to charge me exorbitant shipping charge on top of the shipping charge i paid for an oversize item)

Your local Honda dealer---ask for goood guy price. My take have to ask price on genuine part...maybe you shouldn't have bike. While rubber band drive scooter are fun, they are expensive to own and keep, if you ride 25,000 miles a year, period.
