| 6th of sept, booked the ferry to Amsterdam £191, a quick visit to Arnhem bridge, over to Bruges then onto Dunkirk to stay the night and a visit of the beaches, if i have time i may chance the Normandy beaches which may be a bridge to far in the time i have allocated. Following day head back up the coast to pick up the ferry home
Hows that for a 100th post Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee |

| gooffy,if you do extend your visit to include the Normandy beaches "Gold Beach" (@ Arromanches) & see the remains of the Mulberry harbour (named “Port Winston”) is a "must see",there is also a small museum there & bits of military hardware. If you fancy seeing a piece of memotobilia from an earlier invasion, the Bayeux tapestry is not very far away |

| If you need somewhere to stay near Brugge, try the Bikers Loft.
http://www.motorhotel.be/bikersloft/eng/hotelinfo.htm
Bike friendly (of course), with large, indoor, secure parking. Simple accommodation (rooms or dormitory). Food always available (pre-packed to heat in a microwave). Bar.
