Hello from North Yorkshire

Hello I'm yet another newbie, so please be gentle with me. I'm from North Yorkshire in the UK. I may as well use the forum name I already use on another maxi forum which is Brubaker.

I'm retired and live in York a few miles from Meldrew. As he is retired too we occasionally go out for rides during the week and of course like to stop for something like a pot of tea and a fat rascal en route. The odd weekend away is fine too we went over to Cumbria recently with our wives, but most of the time I prefer to spend weekends at home in York with my wife and the grandchildren.

I bought my Silverwing new late last year and since then it's been kitted out with stuff like an Airflow screen, heated grips and wind deflectors, and a large Givi top box, or basic junk I believe it's called. Smile

Thanks but I'm already in the Muppets, I joined in January this year a few months after buying my SW. Smile

Being retired it's easy to fix up something with Meldrew who also lives in York.

I think you've gone overboard with the laughter smilies there, it's only the Brits on the forum who'll know where the small rural county of Shropshire is, and I Wrekin even less will have been there. Neutral
