| First topic message reminder :
Good evening, everyone. I'm Mike, a fugitive from the UK living on mainland Europe. I don't yet own a Silverwing but as soon as I have the cash I shall trade in my Italian maxi (which has served me well) and buy the Honda. I've been lurking for a while, taking careful note of your hard-won experience, and hope to be able to contribute some of my own when and if......! I know one or two people here from other forums. I hope I'm not jumping the gun by joining before owning. Mike. |

| Thanks, Doug!
I've planned my route home so it's varied.
And thanks for the reminders about the seating position and grips; the Utopia back-rest is on its way but if it doesn't come in time for the weekend I shall place my hold-all strategically on the pillion seat to lean against. |

| Thanks, Doug. ............Ladieeeeees and Gentlemen - 'The Winged Express' now resides in the space formerly occupied by Lilli! Arrived at the dealer's at 10.00, rode away at 10.45. First impressions: magic! I'll need to adjust the seating-position and stuff like that and get used to the very responsive throttle but it's lovely. Leg-shields still need to be fitted as they have only just arrived and the Givi bits have been delayed but should be here in time for me to fit before Friday. No photos yet - it was filthy weather first thing and the bike's covered in muck from the roads. More later! |

| Excellent news. I too don't have the bits I ordered on mine as yet. (Heated grips). They are now in but I said I may as well wait until first service now! Look forward to hearing more. I take it the weeather didn't 'dampen' things too much? |

| Thanks! I, too, will wait until the first service for having my bits fitted. Fortunately, the rain had stopped before we arrived at the dealer's and the sun came out but the roads in places are rather agricultural and very mucky. |
