| Just saying hi to everyone here. I've not purchased a Silver wing as yet but I think it's going to be the bike of choice, I was going to buy a cruiser again but having a change of mind. My mod 1 is booked for next month so not getting to far ahead of myself until mod 2 is passed.
I'm in Port Glasgow, 18 miles west of Glasgow, on the Clyde. |

| Hello mate, you say you were going to buy a cruiser which has a clutch and gears and now fancy a Silver Wing which is automatic. To do this won't you have to pass both Module 1 off road, and Module 2 on road on a 46 BHP geared motorcycle to get your full licence via the Direct Access route. That way you can immediately ride any size motorcycle or scooter. |

| Yes Meldrew, Mod 1 is in the pound and mod 2 is out on the road riding a 500-650cc machine supplied by the trainers. Until last year you could do a smaller bike test that would automatically upgrade to any bike after 2 years, but that's stopped now I believe. So I'm going direct access, as time & age is whizzing past |

| Beautiful country. . . . back in the late '70's was in the U.S. submarine service and spent several weeks at a time at Holy Loch. Wonder if the Commercial Bar & Grill is still in Dunoon?
Took awhile to get used to the warm ale though. |

Took awhile to get used to the warm ale though. Dunoon pretty much shut down when you boys left ha. The midgies were saddened too |
