Hello Texas members,

Hope you are enjoying your rain.  It will be delaying Bob's and my return to Chicago a day.  We will be heading home Saturday instead of Friday. Got to McKinney on Sunday evening and headed down to San Antonio on Monday. We had some rain on each day not for long while we were there.  Did get soaked yesterday with 4 miles to go till our motel.

We have ridden almost 2100 miles since last Saturday. Rode some real nice roads in MO, AR, OK and TX. Our first time riding in TX.  We had some hot days but not to bad.  Enjoyed San Antonio with our friends. Saw the Alamo, and the Riverwalk.  Rode the Twisted Sisters.  Not use to the road surface here in TX.  Some are pretty rough. Especially those ranch roads.  I can see why your tires wear out faster.  Hill Country is quite pretty.

Enjoy your rain I know you need it.  Also the cooler tempertures I brought with me.  Just not cool enough to snow.

CathyN aka the "Rainmaker" or Snow Goddess depending on which month I am visiting my friends.cheers

We would love to come to California. We just have to be able to get more than a week off at a time. One day we will get out there.

Lewis, sorry we missed each other today. Next time I come to visit
we will give it another go. Sad

Got home safely this evening. Left McKinney, TX on Sat. morning. Great weather both days. sunny sunny sunny  Since we delayed leaving Friday. Total trip was 3000 miles in nine days really seven. Didn't ride Friday and only rode 26 miles on Tuesday.

I have officially put over 40,000 miles on my Swing since I got my bike on 09/25/10. also, added Texas and Kansas to states I have been to.
