Hello! Newbie weighing in

I bought a new '12 S'wing about 2 weeks ago and have been poking around the site for a month or so.

I have been riding 2-wheelers for nearly 50 years. I guess I have returned to my roots, as my first ride was a 125 cc Vespa. Since then, I have owned 4 street bikes and a half-dozen or so dirt bikes. (As you can see, I don't change rides too frequently!) My last two machines have been Goldwings. However, after all this time, I was riding less and less and losing interest in doing it. A couple of my friends have scooters and urged me to give them a try - so, here I am!

I really like the S'wing and am looking forward to putting lots of miles on it.

Many have had G/W and down graded (per say) the the great S/W and never gone back.
Maybe it is an age thing. Your last attempt to keep ridding. Ha Ha.

I ride here in Santa Barbara California (Today) with a group called the OFMC.
Old Farts Motorcycle Club. I am the only one with a scooter, but have never had a problem keeping up in the third spot as we travel 190 to 225 miles every week.
