Hello S'Wingers. great forum here. I live in Boulder county Colorado and have an '04 SW. Been riding since age 11 and maxi-scootering since 1998. Formed the Big A** Scooter -- Rockin' The Rockies Tour last summer and it was a blast.

Welcome! I live just about 200 miles to the North and East of you. If you ride to the Black Hills, you might come through here although we do have a Helmet Law which I respect. Again, Welcome.

Welcome from Mt Prospect IL. Spent two weeks in Colorado this past Summer just before the rain started.People there are friendly and are probably the most physically fit   of any state.

Welcome BJ! Nice to see you again. The ride last summer was a blast. Are you planning another for this summer? So when did you get your 04 Silverwing? Do you still have the Kymco too?

Thanks for all the welcomes and "howdy-do" everyone. So far, this seems to be a great forum.

I actually started the first Silver Wing forum (stateside, anyway) which is the Yahoo silverwing forum. Its still around but I turned it over to better admin many years ago.

Hey big guy, good to hear from you. You should have just gotten an email about a 2014 Rockin' The Rockies Tour. I should have a new website up in a couple weeks. The limit is 10 plus the 2 leaders. Andrew and I are working hard at new routes and plan to stretch the tour a day longer.

Bought the SW just a few weeks back. I love my Xciting 500 but it never fit my long legs very well. I had been looking for a good SWing for a while but as I am a notorious tight-wad it took a while to get one at a price I could live with. So the Xciting is for sale, fully outfitted and at a great price.
