| Purchased a '09 Silverwing in late September this year and have enjoyed the experience so far. I have owned several motorcycles over the 40+ years of my riding experience. About three years ago I had my '06 Gold Wing Triked (Roadsmith) and began missing the two wheel feel. I like the trike but it's a totally different riding sensation. I found the SWing in nearly perfect condition and already outfitted with accessories that I probably would have added. I like the feel, the ride, the relative comfort and the fact that it will easily carry a passenger. I have no plans to sell the Goldwing but there are times when I prefer the scoot.
This forum has been extremely useful in providing maintenance tips and 'how to' info with pictures and video. I think I would have made a royal mess had I not seen the problems associated with changing final drive oil. Thanks!

| I go to AR and OK every year for a few weeks to a few months. Took a long ride from here in Florida this past summer on the trike and had a blast riding in AR and OK. Good to have you here... Magoo Triker |

| Hi DerrillW, welcome! Quick question, I was looking at the kuryakan hand grips but wasn't able to find the honda grips. Looks like you did. If you don't mind, where did you find them? |

| Thanks to all for the Welcome to the Forum!
I was asked a couple of questions about the Iso-grips on my SWing.
First, I do like them but I don't know if I would have spent the $ on them. They were in place when I bought the bike. I do know that if you are prone to having your throttle hand go numb (fall asleep?), they will help that condition. Also the mechanical advantage of a larger diameter grip is beneficial on long runs. I also like the "bling" factor!
Since I didn't buy them or install them, I can't answer as to where they came from or what was involved in the process. I understand from other's comments on this forum that virtually any grip for 7/8 inch bars can be used and from my own experience that removing the factory grips on any motorcycle is usually a destructive process. Those that I have changed were cut off with a utility knife.

| I think it was 2 years ago I ran thru Fort Smith and it was 115 degrees that day. Several times I had wet my shirt and hat to cool off on the trike. Magoo Triker - have always been a ladies man |
