Congratulations on your mile stone.Has the valve shims been replace? if so at what milage.Other then regular maintenance,have you replace any expensive parts?  

I had to replace the stator at 90,000 km
I changed the variator and clutch linings to 135,000 km (with used parts -10.000 km)
in addition to the ordinary maintenance

Keep up the great riding - amazing! What is your mix or miles (percentage around town, on freeway, in the mountains, on commute, etc.). Being retired (i.e., no commute) most of 20,000 SWing miles each year are on day trips (50% freeway, 25% rural, and 20% twisties, aand 5% around town).

hello, I use the Silver Wing every day to go to work, on the weekend to go to the mountains or by the sea and in summer for travel in Europe. 22 European countries visited.

So 50% to 50% for fun work. 95% no highway

150 000 klm. No big deal. Thats around one month of riding for john grinsel!!!! 

Quick...sell it before you get to 168,000 km, or you won't get back what you paid for it. That's a lot of riding and the SWing sure does last a long time if taken care of .
