| This is just a suggestion in response to the rhubarb elsewhere. How about a Sub-Forum for "Other Motorcycles"? Like we have Other Scooters? In that way info could be posted and those that have no interest could just pass it by... I find motorcycles/scooters are like potato chips (or crisps) most people just can't have just one Merely an idea, any thoughts? |

| Glenn,
That is a good idea. It wouldn't be hard to do at all and then the motorcycle chat can go there. Thanks for the suggestion. |

Merely an idea, any thoughts? Glen, I like your idea and where that is headed. There already exists a sub forum for "other scooters." I think those that don't want to read about other bikes mixed in with a Silverwing thread should just ignore the thread and move on. A class on being gracious should be mandatory for forum membership. Starting with "live and let live." Define it and how it applies and then perhaps the serenity prayer: "God, grant me the serenity, to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." There is always, "consider the source" attitude. Then there is always the ignore feature. |

| I know this is a scooter site but I have always like to hear about what other people ride. I'm usually a pretty laid back guy and I have never cared about what people ride. I have even suggested other scooters or motorcycles when people was wanting something that maybe the SWing didn't do best. I just like to see and hear about people riding. |

Maybe you should start your own scooter/cruiser/tourer/darkside/trailer towing/religion forum? |

| Ride your own ride. I will ride mine. Stew yourself into another tizzy fit if you choose to. I probably won't run off and create my own forum and then go back and edit all of my previous posts with an X. |

| I just noticed a + and a - on the right side of posts. Is this something new perhaps pertaining to Scootin chicks inquiry ? If so I think I may have given a negative vote by accident. I also noticed Reputation: in posters information box. Are these related ? |

| And now I see a negative under Scootin chicks information so I think I answered my own question. Now I would like to know if I can remove that vote ? Scootin chick please excuse me for the negative vote it was an accident. Hopefully I will be able to change it after we get instructions on how to use the new + and - buttons. |

| Yes, Im playing with the forum features and you now have a + over a - to the right of the posts. You will notice where it said reputation it now says Thanks.
You will be able to add a thanks with the + but the - button doesn't do anything. I had to adapt the reputation button to a thanks button, because in this software the original thanks button only shows up for the original poster, who can thank the person that solves their problem. In order for anyone to thank I have to do it this way.
Still a work in progress.
