A Thanks system is now in place

You now have a + over a - to the right of the posts.
You will notice below where it says Location it now says Thanks.

You will be able to add a thanks with the + but the - button doesn't do anything.
I had to adapt the reputation button to a thanks button, because in this software the original thanks button only shows up for the original poster, who can thank the person that solves their problem.
In order for anyone to thank anyone I have to do it this way.

This whole idea of +/- rating seems pretty juvenile. Like elementary school valentine card exchanges; everyone has to receive the same amount so no one feels slighted.

You can thank someone for their post if you like.
And no one has to receive anything.

And yet, you took the time to read and respond.  And, saying that you "could care less" implies that you care some. Things that make you say hmmmm.

We as 'mods' try to make the site better when we can, and we were also responding to a member who asked about something like this.  So Dan figured it out.  If you don't see a point in it that is fine, just don't use it.
