It is simply glued onto the ?fender? with the same stuff that automobile emblems are attached to the trunk lids. You should be able to get it off and then use some wax cleaner to remove the residue.

I keep my "Honda" and "Silverwing" badges in the vain hope that it'll cut down on the "what kind of bike is that" questions at the pumps. (I'm never in a good mood at that particular moment.)

"What kind of bike is that?"

"Well, let's see....it says "Honda", and "Silverwing". I'm pretty new, but I'm going to guess it's a Honda Silverwing."

Acetone, if I recall correctly. (Usual "test on inconspicuous spot" disclaimer applies.)
