Hello!
I am an accountant in Toronto who uses a Silver Wing to travel to and form appointments all over the city.  Its a great way to travel around the city n style, and avoid paying for parking!
I had a 2005 Silver Wing for about 3 seasons, until it was run over while parked last September.  Just bought its replacement- a 2009 Silver Wing.
I had salvaged the Givi Monokey top case (I think it's a V45, but I'm not sure) from the old bike.  The new bike has no top case but does come with a Givi mounting rack.  The bad new is, the Givi top case does not fit the Givi mounting rack.
Anybody know where I can go to find (or at least identify) a compatible mounting rack?

Hello mate,

You're simply trying to fit your Givi Monokey top box onto the Givi SR19M Monolock rack fitted to your replacement Silver Wing. The correct rack for your top box is the Givi SR19 Monokey eh!  Smile

just goes to show, if you have a question about any aspect of the Silverwing (and quite a few other topics) this forum is the place to come for answers .

Got it now - Monolock and Monokey are different things. The rack on my new bike is a Monorack and I need the Monokey version.
That was very useful, thanks a lot!

Can't you re-use the rack that went with your top box?

Introductions Wttg

Welcome from Seattle.

We enjoy ride reports speckled with crisp clear pictures.

Mine didn't fit either. Ran out of real estate on the rear spoiler. I have a few ideas to make it work and will work on it after this week's camping trip. Heading out in the morning and won't be back for a week.

Too late.  I didn't have time to get it off before the insurance company towed it away.

Thanks for your help, everyone.  Its great to know that this forum exists and I will keep my eye on it from time to time.
